Very nice revolver. Model 686 no dash mfg between 1981 and 1986. The "no dash" means it is the original issue of this model and as such is becoming highly desirable and collectible.

No M modification. S&W will still do the safety mod at no charge if you want to send it in. No politically driven key lock. 4” barrel with full length underlug and a mirrored bore with clearly defined rifling. 6 round capacity. The cylinder keeps perfect time and lock up tight on all six chambers with no play. Square butt with original stocks/grip. Smooth face trigger. Adjustable sights. No box.
